About the Baka Tribe . . .

*The Baka live in houses made of Tilipi leaves, that almost look like green igloos. The women slit the stems of the Tilipi leaves so they can weave a water proof roof to go over the stick frame.

*The Baka's travel in the rainy season to find more food and return to their homes in the dry season. They eat mostly nuts, honey, berries, fish and termites.

*The Baka have some interesting medicines. One medicine is used to make aches and pains go away. This medicine is made of leaves. Another medicines is for women when they have their baby.

*The Baka don't care for other tribes'. They only go there to trade items such as meat they have killed for fruits and vegetables.
