History of the tribe

In the fifteenth century Watusi people entered Brundi from the northeast and established rule over the Hutu. The Watusi men are the tallest men. They have ruled the Hutu people for centuries. During the 1970's problems between the Hutu and the Watusi resulted in death of around 10,000 people.
